Tell me not to quit.

This week I am trying to use my mind to keep my self-employed spirits up. Anyone else out there feeling the same need? The theme for this week is "Not Quitting" & "Spring Equinox".
These seem like two topics that could be interwoven in some bloggy type of way. Now I am counting on you readers to contribute positive ideas that you are using to counter-attack the economy woes.... Hold on till tomorrow...

they do go together...new beginnings, fresh start, so many directions you can go with that. It's true, unlike mrs. palin, you will never be a quitter.

Self-employment... Spring is in the air--I need it in my step (life), and in my wallet (work). To counter-attack the economy woes, I'm re-evaluating/re-inventing. Out of the ashes of 2009, I find myself newly self-employed in two new worlds. Event Planning & Skin Care Consulting have sprouted in my life! My .02: cut-back wherever/whenever possible; meanwhile, focus/be open to all possibilities...maybe do something you never have done before.

I've been thinking a lot about adding value at home in ways that aren't direct money-makers but still have economic value: Getting rid of clutter, reorganizing filing systems, planting a garden, making a bathroom remodel punchlist, and if I have to, I'll do the remodel myself. I also think if you get rid of old baggage, you make room for new wealth.
