When we wrote the blurb on the front page of the blog "we don't live in paris or milan ......" I don't think I fully understood what I was talking about until I stepped foot into this city 4 days ago. Beauty was the main urban plan for Paris. Hard to believe that so many of us live in areas starving for beauty that we would have to make blogs about searching it out like detectives. I doubt that our parisian counterparts are making blogs about finding beauty in their neighborhoods....maybe they would prefer a bit of imperfection to balance out their seemingly perfect city. I guess that's what American tourists are for :)Anyhow, here is a moment that brought me to tears today either from extreme exhaustion or pure bliss. hard to tell . either way, enjoy.

I've only spent seven days in Paris, and much too long ago. I remember standing on that bridge ad feeling I wanted to move to Paris. I must bet back sometime soon. Would love more visits via your blog!
