Carol and I had a date with our new friend, Steve Cox, last Thursday. First we went to the Kushibar, which I love going to with Carol because she knows exactly what to get (that's what living in Japan does for you) and then we ended up at the bar in the Pan Pacific Hotel. Okay, why have we not been here yet? Lake Union has been growing in leaps and bounds, truly, and somehow we missed this place. The decor--smashing, the bartender Jesse--personable and a good mixologist, the cocktails--out of this world. Steve let me try his dirty martini. Not only was it dirty, but it was good, a little too good. --R
