It's Junuary--it's cold, it's raining, it's not summer yet. I don't know about you, but I think June is the most depressing month in Seattle and that's saying a lot. I may have found a cure for the Junuary blues--well done outdoor rooms. I could see myself sitting in any of these spaces wrapped in a lovely Pashmina, staring at the stars, dreaming of a white, sandy beach, pretending it's summer.
My sister-in-law, Karen, designed and built all of these spaces with her husband, Moncef. She is a PNW native and I think she is just used to this crummy weather and is not going to let it spoil her fun. I've been to many parties here and, rain or shine, folks are outside enjoying themselves. Well Done Karen and Moncef!
