House on 35th Avenue. Wedgwood, Seattle

The owner has created an oasis on one of the
busiest streets in Wedgwood. I'm inspired
by the "floating" concrete pavers and the
entry gate.
Well Done Solitude.

oooh I love it when people have the guts to do dark trim, grey or black. Yummy.

Hi there - thanks for your comment/question on my blog. I don't usually give up residential locations but you'd probably find this one sooner or later if you drove around various I-5 onramps, so as long as I am not incurring any bad karma here, I will pass it along - it's on the NE corner of NE 50th St., just as the freeway onramp begins. I wonder if I've seen this house on 35th, it looks really familiar but I've never peeked over the gate. Looks very peaceful indeed!

thanks karen. The house is around the 57th block of 35th Ave NE on the west side. It's a gem.

Love it! It is so inspiring to see people's take on creating an oasis at home.
