Anne here. I know you were wondering and waiting patiently for more of Malina's house. I skipped a day and gave you some color theory about Orange because Rebecca and I are starting a new thing where we give advice/giveaways/educational moments on the 1st and the 15th of every month. We are bringing out our know-it-all attitudes... you already knew this about us didn't you?
Anyway, Malina has a way with chairs as you can see. There are a lot of cozy places to sit at her house. This reminds me of one of my mom's gripes about peoples' houses. She gets really upset if you don't have a good chair and a lamp beside it for reading. She wonders why people don't read as much anymore. I am guilty of this! Who needs a lamp when the laptop lights up all pretty?

my mother is the same way and I have to agree a good lamp is a good thing. I've sort of had it with all the canned lights- I let the electrician put in too many when I remodeled my home. A beautiful light, a cozy chair...now that's living.
Just because we have those canned lights, doesn't mean we have to use 'em too brightly. I am a lamp-maven - they're everywhere in my house. Well done lighting makes a house a home. Too poetic? -Carol
