Summer Light

Summer Light -Thru the Trees
Summer Light - Spotted Me
Summer Light - Palest Gold
Summer Light - Bright and Bold

I Saw Summer Light Descend
Summer Light, Made Shadows Bend
Summer Light, On An Emerald Pond
I Reached Out… It Touched My Palm

Summer Light, It Fell Like Powder
Or a Floating Incandescent Feather
Came Down, Like A Sheer, White Swan
Summer Light – Lifted Wing-Like Arms

So Sunrays Slanted – Shone-Misty
Summer Light-Beams, Embraced Me
Warm, Wonderful Summer Light
Touch Me Tender, Solar- Might

Summer Light, When I Was Lost
Summer Light, Found Me Before Frost
Summer Light - None Else Looked For Me…
Summer Light Said, “I Always See…”

I Love Summer Light

The Europeans

What does your entryway or front yard say about you? Well, the ladies at Well Done Blog think they say a lot about your life, your style, and maybe even your dreams. This week we will feature front yards from around our neighborhood and try to guess who lives there. These folks definitely lived abroad...or want to.--R

Thanks to all the rain. Bryant.

Well, Anne outdid herself. How do I follow a week of beautiful men? Here's how: I'll share pictures of beautiful gardens that got that way because of all the rain and cool weather we had in Seattle these past 272 days--when the temperature did not go above 75 degrees.

Today's featured garden is on a double lot right across from Bryant Elementary. I walk in this neighborhood all the time and never saw it until recently. It makes me think of "The Secret Garden" http://www.online-literature.com/burnett/secretgarden/--R
