Autumn Joy, Mechanicsville, PA.

"I wait all year for these Sedums to bloom their rich, dusty red flowers.
They're Autumn Joy. I have them bordering a walkway, and of course
there's "Bird Girl" presiding over them, with her calm and watchful gaze.
I fell in love with her after reading "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil"."
Caroline A.
Well Done.

Dad and Rosalie's Porch. Devon, PA

“We are porch sitters. Rosalie will sit in a love seat along with Tillie and read by the hour. We Dietz boys grew up with a porch and perhaps it was the best of the family gatherings that we had. Sitting there on the porch in rockers watching the rain come down the valley or just watching a full moon rise over the hill across from our house. Mother often singing songs that we knew or learned as we joined in with some dissonant voice. It was perfect although I do not recall that Dad was a regular. He was too busy saying his good nights to the various farm animals. He loved just running his hands over their shanks or necks talking gently to them and being very interested in their well being. So dad with the animals and mom with the other brand of animals: Family time quiet, soft and warm.”
Dad and Rosalie added this porch on to their home over twenty years ago. It looks like it has always been there. Well Done Dad.-R

Summertime...

Superman!

and the living is easy. Mechanicsburg, PA.

The owner, "I chose a grey plaster for the pool, which gives the water a deep, rich blue color, very Mediterranean. I asked the landscaper to use a lot of symmetry and create an allee which he did with three trees on either side. The hedge is boxwood and I have three dogwood trees on either side, which I love. I was going for an elegant, classic feeling." Well Done Pool.
